My childhood dream was to become a lawyer. Then, as now, I wanted to help people who are facing a difficult situation and to make a positive impact on the world. I hold degrees in Psychology and in Law from Queen’s University.
I became a lawyer in June of 2008 and have been practising family law since that time. For over a decade I have worked with clients across Ontario, helping them to navigate through our complex family law system and resolve their legal issues so that they can successfully regain control of their lives.
I believe that there is always a solution to any problem and that we are defined most by the struggles we face and adversities we overcome. It is a humbling experience to practise family law as the impact on a client’s life can be significant. I do not take lightly the trust that clients have placed in me while we work together to resolve their family law issues.
I strive to practise law with integrity, compassion, reasonableness, creativity and fairness as well as being mindful of the costs that clients are incurring.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, attending concerts and sporting events, reading, camping and hiking.
I would be honoured to work with you.
